Banyan Tree

The opening in 2002 of this exclusive new Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts property brought an impressive new concept of international hotel luxury and resort lifestyle to the main island of Mahe. The private and exclusive style of this tranquil, all-villa hotel makes it a perfect Seychelles sanctuary and spa.

The Banyan Tree, Seychelles lies on the southwestern coastline of Mahe amongst the unspoilt beaches of Intendance Bay. The property offers a variety of spacious luxuriously furnished hillside and beachfront villas and a Presidential villa. All the villas have unimpeded views of The Indian Ocean.

The hillside pool villas each have master bedroom, indoor sunken bath, sundeck and a private swimming pool. The beachfront villas are more lavish with a larger private pool, a steam room and a Jacuzzi.

The hotel has two restaurants: "Au Jardin" which offers international and Creole cuisine in an informal atmosphere, or dine in style at their Thai restaurant "Saffron".
