Paradise Cove

Paradise Cove is well named. Nestling on the north of the Island. This romantic and secluded hideaway has character and charm in abundance. Friendly staff know guests by name, a touch that adds to the homely and relaxed ambience.

The hotel is built around a rocky cove, with a small, private, palm-dotted beach providing a tranquil setting for guests staying in the 67 sea-facing bedrooms, which have en-suite facilities and a terrace or balcony.

Taking pride in producing excellent food, Paradise Cove Hotel and Spa has three restaurants plus a beach bar and a pool bar. La Belle Creole provides premier cuisine, while the dining at La Cocoteraie is less formal, its tables shaded by thatched pavilions. After-dinner entertainment varies from Indian dance to classical music and jazz.

All water sports can be enjoyed on the open sea since the well-equipped boathouse is situated on the end of a small promontory. An added attraction is the hotel’s large, crewed catamaran and this elegant vessel takes visitors on short trips to nearby islands for swimming and snorkelling. Not surprisingly, these free jaunts, with lunch included (nominal fee for lunch), tend to be very popular.

Guests preferring to stay near the hotel have a host of other pursuits from which to choose, with the pretty swimming pool an obvious attraction. The sports-minded can try tennis which is played on two courts, floodlit in the evening. For the more adventurous, mountain bikes offer a good way to explore the island.
