Le Sakoa
Le Sakoa successfully combines the combination of self catering style beach studios with the amenities of a small hotel.
This charming hotel is situated in Trou aux Biches on the west coast of Mauritius on a beautiful beach. The hotel comprises of 14 individual air conditioned studios, six with sea view and eight with garden views. Each studio has a double room, a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace and a large bathroom.
The rate per night is on a bed and breakfast basis with the flexibility of pre ordering dinner each evening. Guests can however opt to go self catering. There is an excellent local supermarket nearby - Chez Popo - and a few local bars and restaurants.
There is a golf club and a casino 500 metres away and the bustling, vibrant village of Grand Baie is only a 15 minute drive. The hotel has a swimming pool, a pool bar, paddle boards and pedalo. For a nominal fee deep sea diving, water skiing and glass bottom boat rides can be arranged.
